One of the greatest personalities in the world of psychology is commemorated in an interactive and entertaining way via an audio guide that uses the voice of Freud.
Visitors will get acquainted with the exposition called "Sigmund Freud - a man" which intends to present the famous Příbor native as a "normal" person with a normal relationship to everyday life. In each room, you will become familiar with the specific details of his personal and professional life, creating the atmosphere of a close relationship between the visitor and to the place where he was born.

Freud's relationship to humor is captured in caricatures drawn by Vladimír Jiránek, whose text will introduce this serious, brooding scientist with a stern look on his face, as a lover of humor.

Sigmund Freud

Although Sigismund Schlomo Freud Sischa, later shortened to Sigmund Freud, spent only three years of his life in his native Příbor, he never forget this Moravian town. As a respected psychoanalyst who knew how childhood affects our future development, he recalled the sound of the bells of the local church. He writes about his nanny, Monica Zajíc. In his works, he calls Příbor 'home' and Moravia his homeland.
