Close to the border with Slovakia lies the mountain chalet Sněžná. The former holiday resort is now a place where visitors to Beskydy stay or gather their strength before setting off on their next trip.
From Sněžná, you can continue along the main tourist route, locally known as the 'magistrale', towards Bílý Kříž (White Cross) or the other way towards Solan. Nearby stands the Sůkenická look-out tower, from where there are views of the peaks of Beskydy as well as the mountains in Slovakia, Mala a Velka Fatra (Little and Great Fatra) and if the weather is clear, the High Tatra mountains.
