This restaurant at the top of the transmitter tower on Praděd will make you feel like you are in heaven - not only because it is the highest restaurant point in the Czech Republic. After trying the local Czech and regional cuisine delicacies, especially having just conquered the hike up here, the food will vanish from your plate immediately. We can guarantee that! Every year, a pig-slaughtering feast and wild game feast take place here.
After a satisfying meal (we recommend e.g. the Jeseníky blueberry dumplings), climb up just a few more meters to the viewing platform on the second glass level of this television transmitter and absorb this unforgettable view of the surroundings. From an altitude of 1,562.8 meters above sea level (also the second highest point in the Czech Republic, following Sněžka), you will have a great view of more than just Jeseníky. When the weather allows, you will see as far as the peaks of Beskydy (105 km), Krkonoše (126 km), Malá Fatra (150 km) and sometimes even the High Tatra mountains!
When you are well-fed and energized, you can continue your trek through the landscape of Jeseníky, whether on foot, by bike, on cross-country skis in the tracks of the Jeseníky Arterial or Alpine-style down one of the many local slopes!
And if you aren’t in the mood to go anywhere, stay put and relax in one of the hotel rooms.
