One of the most picturesque wooden churches stands in Albrechtice near Český Těšín and is admired by visitors who come to the Beskydy Mountains and the foothill villages.
This 18th century wooden church replaced the original church which was damaged by numerous floods. The church in Albrechtičky is dedicated to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. Today the church has been perfectly restored and the roof has returned to its original, cleaved shingle, form.
A visit to this area can be incorporated into a trip to
Český Těšín or
Archeopark in nearby Chotěbuz.
