Visitors can find good food and drink in a stylish environment at Zámeček Zábřeh. It has become a favourite among Ostrava’s residents. The restaurant has preserved the original historical, arched-ceiling rooms. A tavern was opened in the building's loft where guests can admire its old, chiseled rafters.
The Zámeček takes pride in its beer. It has  its very own microbrewery and the shiny, copper tanks are on display to beer lovers walking through the restaurant. You also have the opportunity to relax in beer baths. The Zámeček also functions as a hotel and the historical spaces are perfect for a romantic wedding.

The chateau's history reaches all the way back into the fifteenth century, when a Gothic water fortress once stood here. The name Zábřeh evokes water imagery (‘břeh’ means riverbank in Czech) and highlights the fact that the people who lived here were on the other side of the bank (‘za’ means ‘behind’). In short,  Zábřeh  means, ‘on the other side of the Ondřejnice River’.

The chateau when though a sort of resurrection in 2000 and, today, it is one of the most popular establishments in Ostrava.
