The chapel is a remains of the old 'Way of the Cross' which led to the church that stood on top of the hill 'Kotouč' in Štramberk. It forms part of the park and in it, was placed the carved Wallachian nativity scene, or 'Bethlehem'. Today, there is a nativity scene from a Štramberk carver.
The Národní sad (National orchard park) was created on top of the hill Kotouč in
Štramberk during a time of patriotism, shortly after the founding of Czechoslovakia. It is a natural gallery where you can admire busts and plaques of important figures in Czech history. The National orchard park and Štramberk are marked with information signs and form a discovery trail.
