If you want to see the very first car that drove on the roads of the former Austria-Hungarian Empire, go to the Technical Museum in Kopřivnice where you can find it. It was here, in 1897, where a carriage that was not pulled by horses but was run by an engine – the automobile Präsident. And at the museum in Kopřivnice, this motor vehicle can be seen.
Along with the car Präsident, there are other dozens of TATRA vehicles that are displayed together with detailed descriptions of the purpose for which each served. One part of the museum is dedicated to the Olympic champion Emil Zátopek.
