Kozubová mountain towers above Jablunkov on a wooded ridge of the Beskydy Mountains. The peak is at an altitude of just under a thousand meters above sea level and the view is grand due to an eighteen-meter high look-out tower. It is part of the Chapel of St. Anne and is the easternmost observation tower in the Czech Republic.
It is not entirely clear why the mountain is called Kozubová but one version says that its name comes from the name of the owner of a hut who used to farm here in the late 17th century.

What is certain is that on the top of the mountain is the chalet 'Kozubová' where it is possible to stay, get some refreshments and continue to hike the ridge toward the cabin Slavíč or to Morávka or descend down to Jablunkova.
