New Šipka Museum

In the picturesque town of Štramberk, which is known not only for its gingerbread ears but also for its significant archeological finds and the Šipka Cave, you can visit a new museum named after this cave in the building of the former meat shops.
The museum's exposition is focused on archeology related to the Štramberk locality of the Kotouč hill, paleontology and geology. One of the main attractions is, among other things, a replica of the Šipka cave or a copy of the jaw of a Neanderthal child, which has made the place of the discovery famous.
