It is known for an incredible number of exhibitions and cultural events organised by the local castellan. In the forest, approximately four kilometres from Albrechtice is Burkvíz, stands the ruins of a stronghold, built in the middle of the 11th century as a surveillance point of the Moravian border.
The entire Osoblaha region is filled with castles that you can visit, and the best way to do so is on bike. You can also enjoy various views of the lowland. One of the most interesting view-towers is on Hraniční Hill, near Albrechtice. It is located at the border with Poland and resembles a border guard’s watchtower.
