]]> The Svinec Ski Resort in Nový Jičín is located just 3 km from the town center. The main slope is 470 meters long with an elevation difference of 120 meters. Its profile makes it ideal for all types of skiers. The slope is artificially snowed and groomed every evening by a snowcat. It is also illuminated for night skiing. There is also a smaller slope for beginners with a children’s lift.
The entire area is ideal for school ski courses. Individual, group, and family skiing and snowboarding lessons are provided by the local Ski Club’s trained instructors or an authorized ski school. For more information, visit the ticket office or call +420 728 208 328.

A state-of-the-art 6-seater chairlift with heated seats covered with a “bubble” will take you up the hill, and you can either take the 950-metre long red slope or the 1,300-metre long blue slope – especially beginners and children will appreciate it. Both slopes are also open for night skiing.

The smallest visitors can try their first ski steps on the children’s slope, which is safely separated from the main slope. A moving conveyor belt ensures their comfort. There is a ski school, ski rental and ski service.

If you’ve had enough of skiing, you can have fun in the fun park with a number of winter attractions.
