Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí

Located on a small hill in the centre of town, the chateau is the main feature of Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí.

It is known for its white, ornamented facade that can be seen shining from a distance. The building is an example of the pure Renaissance style, and is one of Moravia and Silesia’s Renaissance architectural gems. The small chateau is not open to the public, and is used by the town for its own purposes.

In Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí, there are views of the Beskydy Mountains, and the pleasant cycling route along the Ondřejnice River leads all the way to Hukvaldy. On the other side of town, visitors can set off for the Jistebnické rybníky Ponds and discover the beauty of the Poodří Region.
