Fairytale underground

The museum in Bílovec opened to visitors and history lovers. Those who wish to get to know it in a slightly unconventional way can use one of the attractions of the Fairytale Poodří and entrust themselves to the care of the Picmoch elves.

After the extensive reconstruction of the museum, it was discovered that two large families of elves had taken up residence in the basement of the museum in Bílovec. They are now at home in the museum and guide even the smallest visitors through the monument. They are easy to recognize – they have big ears, long noses and usually stick together. But they are good-hearted elves who are also engaged in meaningful work. In addition to guiding tourists, they make a living by making buttons, herbal teas, baking real Picmoch bread or even making ‘ořechovice’(walnut liqueur). So come and see for yourself. The elves are looking forward to seeing you.
