Church of St. Peter and Paul in Albrechtice

One of the most picturesque wooden churches admired by visitors to the Beskydy Mountains and the villages in the foothills stands in Albrechtice near Český Těšín.

The wooden church from the middle of the 18th century replaced the original church, which was destroyed by many floods. The Albrechtice church is dedicated to the Apostles Peter and Paul. Today, the church is beautifully restored, for example, the original split shingles have returned to the roof. Český Těšín or the Archaeopark in nearby Chotěbuz are also worth a visit to this area.
