Frenštát Church of St. Martin

The Frenštát Church of St. Martin or "Lower Church" was built after a great fire in the town in 1661.

In the church there is a chapel of St. Barbara and St. John of Nepomuk. The interior of the church is decorated with a hanging triptych of the Wallachian Madonna by Adolf Liebscher and the Wallachian Nativity Scene by Jan Knebel. The bell of St. Martin, weighing five hundred kilograms, was blessed in 2006 by Bishop Václav Lobkowicz of the Ostrava-Opava Archdiocese.
