Lachian Nature Trail through Kopřivnice

The Lachian nature trail passes through the most attractive places in Kopřivnice and its surroundings.

The individual stops on the trail (16 thematic and 2 informational) present interesting facts from history, zoology, botany, forestry, mycology, dendrology, geology and hydrology.The trail also offers a number of panoramic views of the landscape, e.g. from the top of Pískovna, Červený kámen and especially from the observation tower on Bílá hora (White Mountain) of the Podbeskydská pahorkatina, Beskydy, Oderské vrchy and, in optimal visibility, the Jeseníky Mountains.

The route leads along forest and dirt roads and also passes through the towns of Kopřivnice and Štramberk. The Kopřivnice branch of the Lachian Nature Trail was established in 2001 and is circular.
