Water skiing at the Hlučín gravel pit

On hot summer days, not only swimmers but also active people who are not too keen on relaxing by the water can enjoy themselves at the Hlučín gravel pit. It has proven to be a great place for water skiing.

In the beginning, only a few enthusiasts were surfing the waves, but after the nearly one-kilometre-long lift over the lake started to operate, the number of skiers increased significantly. You can ski here recreationally in a more relaxed way, or even for sport.

There are also wonderful conditions for sailing and windsurfing at the Hlučín gravel pit. Grassy beaches with tennis courts, mini golf, beach volleyball and other activities are spread around the water area. And because sports quickly get hungry, there is no shortage of refreshments in restaurants or stalls.
