Skotnice Museum
Small but lovely is the museum of rural life and agriculture in Skotnice.
It was founded in 2011 in the municipal office, literally in a way that could be called “mulligan.” Local people, as well as the inhabitants of many surrounding villages, brought objects used by their grandfathers and grandmothers to the museum.
The result is a museum with hundreds of exhibits, which are divided into different sections, so that you can see, for example, what life was like in the backyard, in a shed, in a man’s workshop or in a woman’s study. This museum can thus be a pleasant and informative stop to discover the culture and traditions of the Poodří region.
