Nová Ves
Nová Ves is one of the quieter cross‑country skiing areas around Rýmařov and offers several routes suitable for beginners as well as more athletic skiers. The local loops run through forests and open meadows, alternating between gentle flats, mild climbs, and short descents. Thanks to this variety, everyone can easily choose a route that fits their time and mood.
For shorter outings, the Les Loop (5 km) or the Louky Loop (2.9 km) work well. Both have only light elevation gain and are ideal for warming up, technique practice, or relaxed family skiing. The routes are easy to navigate and can be combined without difficulty.
Those who prefer a longer trip often choose the Nová Ves – Hříbovec – Pastviny – Horní Moravice – Pastviny – Hříbovec – Nová Ves loop (13.3 km). It offers a more varied profile, mixing open sections with forest passages, and with around 270 meters of elevation gain it suits skiers looking for a more fitness‑oriented ride.
From Nová Ves, you can also continue toward Dolní and Horní Moravice, where several additional routes start, including the popular Alfrédka – Mravencovka – Dolní Moravice trail (12.3 km). This option opens the way to a wider network of cross‑country trails in the area.
All loops can be combined and adjusted according to current snow conditions. Before heading out, it’s a good idea to check the grooming status so the chosen route matches your plans and equipment.
