If you seek another spot in the landscaped that offers views of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains, the Ostrava basin, as well as the Jeseníky Mountains, then Pohoř near the town of
Odry is for you.
The lookout tower is open to the public, and, in good weather, offers views of Lysá hora Mountain from its observation platform at 13 metres above ground. The lookout tower's shape is reminiscent of a medieval guard tower. It symbolises the era when Odry was an important Hussite centre. It was from this spot that Hussite armies guarded the surrounding clear and vast landscape of
Moravské Kravařsko. The town of Odry also contains a similar lookout tower in its coat of arms.
