The watchtower atop the fabled Great Čantoryje Mountain is nearly thirty meters high. It is the highest peak in the Těšínské Mountains and the ridge forms the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. Views from the tower are not only of these two countries, but you can also see into Slovakia.
Below the tower stretches the village of Nydek and the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains and, in good weather, you can see the Jeseniky Mountains on the horizon. In the direction of Slovakia you can see the Kysuce region and in the distance, the high Tatra Mountains. Towards Poland, the spa town of Ustroň and the Vistula river valley extends before you.

Right at the lookout you can get some refreshments and a bit below the peak of Great Čantoryje, you can rest at a typical mountain chalet dating from 1904. The slope of the mountain is a nature reserve, 'Čantoria', which protects the original, old-growth fir-beech forest.
