Castle grounds in Paskov

Take a walk through the unique castle park, which is a European site belonging to the Natura 2000 system thanks to a rare beetle. You will be surrounded by the gurgling of a brook, the clatter of a wooden mill and the rustling of majestic trees...

In the chateau, where a fortress stood in the 15th century, you will be able to see a unique collection of coats of arms, models of wooden churches, chapels and bell towers from the Beskydy, Pobeskydí and Wallachia regions and learn about the local history and life in the first half of the 2nd century in the region around the rivers Morávka and Mohelnice. Part of the exhibition is also dedicated to Edmund Reitter – an entomologist who was one of the most important in his field in Central Europe at the end of the 19th and 20th centuries.
