Jindřichov Chateau
The Jindřichov Chateau is located in the village of the same name in the Osoblažský výběžek region. The chateau acquired its present appearance after a fire in 1844, when it was rebuilt into an exemplary chateau of the Empire style.
The chateau was owned by many owners, probably the most famous is the Klein family, a well-known business family, which, among other things, participated in the construction of railway lines in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Inside, two original halls have been preserved, and after World War II the chateau was briefly used as a place of residence for Korean children, and later as a social welfare institution. Today, the castle is owned by the municipality and is not yet open to the public, but the five-hectare park is worth a walk, with many rare tree species and a highly prized collection of statues and sculptures.
