Kaluža Nature Reserve

The Kaluža Nature Reserve is situated on the right bank of the Moravice River near Lesní Albrechtice. The steeply descending slope to the river level is a unique mixed forest based on native beech trees.

Lovers of romantic places can admire beautiful views of the Moravice River here. True nature connoisseurs will also find their own here, as many beetles and amphibians, including rare newts, live in the moist environment of the melting leaves. The permanently moist soil also creates conditions for many protected flowers that attract butterflies and insects.
