Natural Sanctuary Podgrúň in Beskydy

Near Staré Hamry, on the slope of the Gruň mountain, there is the Podgrúň natural reserve.

It is a meadow through which the Jamník stream flows. The main reason why this place is so rare is the protected plants that have found their home in the meadow. One of them is a rare carnivorous plant. Therefore, the meadow is mowed regularly and the nature conservationists remove the bushes to protect the rare flora.
