Peat bog near Kamenka

One of the few peat bogs in the area can be found at the source of the Pekelný Brook near the village of Kamenka.

In the middle of this natural rarity you can see a small lake from which the peat bog is fed. The thickness of the peat here is up to half a metre. Nature lovers can admire rare plants that grow nowhere else but in these locations. Many reptiles, amphibians and beetles live here.Near the peat bog there is a viewpoint from which you can observe the Beskydy Lysá hora and the Jeseníky Praděd.
