Suchá Rudná
Suchá Rudná offers groomed cross‑country skiing trails of various lengths and difficulty levels. Skiers can start with the short red loop, approximately 3.1 km long, which has only mild elevation gain and works well for a quick outing, technique practice, or family trips. Those who prefer a longer route often choose the “Pod Železným vrchem – U školky – Lázeňská” loop (about 7.9 km). It alternates between flat sections, gentle climbs, and easy descents, creating a more varied profile and a pleasant rhythm.
More experienced skiers usually head for the longer “Pod Železným vrchem – Suchá Rudná – Malá Hvězda” loop, roughly 8.9 km in length. This route leads through more varied terrain and includes more noticeable elevation gain, making it suitable for fitness training or extended outings.
All loops can be combined according to available time, mood, and current snow conditions. Before setting out, it’s a good idea to check the latest grooming status to match the route with your plans and equipment.
