The Exhibition Hall of the Těšín Museum in Karvina
The permanent exhibition tells the story of the city, originally named Fryštát, and how the surrounding villages joined up after the Second World War to become Karvina. Learn about how the town looked in the Middle Ages, where religious objects once stood and, of course, the figure of Count Larisch-Mönnich is obviously not ignored. He was a mine and estate owner and was at the centre of the greatest development in this area. The permanent exhibition is supplemented by current exhibitions and various social events.
