Savings Bank Palace in Krnov

The Savings Bank was established in Krnov at the end of the nineteenth century and was located in the local town hall.

As its premises were no longer sufficient, at the beginning of the twentieth century it had a building erected which is still known as the Savings Bank Palace. It is adjacent to the town hall and visitors can still admire the rich decoration, stained glass, fittings and sculptures. Today, the palace houses a cosy Art Nouveau café.
