World of Technology in Dolní Vítkovice

Part of the industrial area in Dolní Vítkovice is also a modern World of Technology, where visitors can learn a lot about the world and society in an entertaining and interactive way.

The Great World of Technology is divided into the Children’s World, the World of Science and Discovery, the World of Civilisation and the World of Nature. Visitors young and old learn everything through games or 3D films. Here you will be explained how the human body works, how a thunderstorm or a rainbow is created. You can travel through time and see the mammoth hunters.

The Great World of Technology is followed by the Small World of Technology, which reveals the secrets of inventions. It all starts with the steam engine, which launched other significant technical discoveries. Here, young visitors discover, among other things, how pig iron is turned into steel. In the next section, inventions from Jules Verne’s books are ready for their discoverers.
