Sovinec Castle Exposition

In the renovated buildings of Sovinec Castle, exhibitions on the history of the castle and its surroundings are gradually being created.

Visitors can see an exhibition of weapons and tin in the purgatory building. In the area that originally served as a stable, there is an exhibition on the history of the castle, visitors will learn about how armies passed through the surroundings of Sovinec during the Thirty Years’ War.

In the other rooms there is an exhibition dedicated to the forestry school and in the lapidary various exhibitions and cultural programmes are held.  In the upper part of the castle there are cannons on display. Wooden tourist stamps are displayed in the tower with an observation deck.
