The Sovinec Castle Exhibition

The renovated buildings of Sovinec Castle are gradually open for different exhibitions about the history of the castle and its surroundings.

You can see an exhibition of weapons and tin in the burgrave’s residence. The former stable holds an exhibition on the history of the castle, where you can learn about the armies that went through the vicinity of Sovinec during the Thirty Years’ War.

Another exhibition is dedicated to the forest school. The lapidarium holds different exhibitions and cultural events. The upper part of the castle displays the old cannons. The tower, with a viewing deck, houses an exhibition of wooden tourist plaques.
