Odry – Muzeum Oderska

If you are interested in the spiritual dimension of Odry and the surrounding villages, and especially in religious themes, you should not miss the Muzeum Oderska during your wanderings.

The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the craftsmanship and sacred art in the parishes that belonged to the Odry Deanery and were established in the 18th to 20th centuries.

Here you will find sculptures, books and church relics that were kept for many years in depositories, in the sacristies of churches or, on the contrary, were commonly used in church services. The deanery of Odry covered a vast area around Odry as far as Fulnek, Spálov and Potštát. The history and turbulent development of this part of the Moravské Kravařsko region can be perceived through the exhibition of sacral objects.

The museum has a number of other exhibitions and accompanying events that complement the permanent exhibition.
