The Muzeum Oderska (Museum of the Odry Region) in Odry

If you are interested in the spiritual scope of Odry and its surrounding towns, as well as in religious subjects, you must include the Muzeum Oderska (Museum of the Odry Region) in your explorations.

The permanent exhibit is dedicated to artistic craft and sacred art in parishes that fall under the Odry deanery and originated in the 18^th through the 20^th centuries.

The museum displays statues, books, and religious relics that for years had been stored in depositories, in church sacristies, or, conversely, were used regularly during worship services at church. The local deanery encompassed an expansive territory around Odry that reached all the way to Fulnek, Spálov, and Potštát. It is through this exhibit of sacred items that one can begin to understand the history and turbulent development of this part of Moravské Kravařsko.
