Praděd Ski Resort

When skiing on the highest mountain in Moravia, you will feel like you are in heaven - at least you will be very close to it, because at a higher altitude than here on Praděd you will not be able to ski anywhere else in the Czech Republic. Thanks to the climatic conditions, the ski area offers the best quality snow cover, which often lasts until the end of April. No wonder the mountain is called the Moravian glacier.

You can ski or snowboard on eight slopes of all levels of difficulty, the longest of which is 850 metres long. Two of the slopes are even homologated for ski racing. However, children and beginners will also enjoy the ski school and children’s ski playground, or snowboarders in the snowpark.

Cross-country skiing in the charming landscape of the Jeseníky Mountains is also a wonderful experience. The machine-groomed trail between Ovčárna, Švýcárna and Červenohorské sedlo is very popular and will take you through the most beautiful parts of these mountains. This route is part of the Jesenická magistrála.
