Wooden Church of St. Anthony of Padua

Legend has it that the Count of Oppersdorf faced an attack by a sturdy deer while hunting here. Lord George leaned against a tree, the bullet wounded deer stuck its antlers into the trunk and trapped the count. After a long time, he was rescued by other participants in the hunt and the lord of Oppersdorf built a church here as a thank you for saving his life from almost certain death.

Large processions are still held to the church today. The altar with the image of St. Anthony is said to have great power. It is said that if a girl from the neighbourhood comes here barefoot, on the feast of St. Anthony, she is sure to be married within a year. And then there is another legend that says that a girl who rides on her ass all the way home from Prašivá will get a groom. Some girls are said to have tried it seven times in a row just to be sure.
