Meanders of the old Odra River near Jeseník nad Odrou

The original bed of the Odra River, which the river has carved out of the landscape, forms the Meanders of the Old Odra Nature Reserve near Jeseník nad Odrou.

Today it is a place where visitors can enjoy the tranquillity of the many pools created by the Odra. The local trees and plants are extraordinary and therefore also protected. The tranquillity and clean environment create ideal conditions for many rare species of reptiles and amphibians.

Nearby is another interesting site, the Hrabětický les nature reserve, where you can admire mature trees and rare species of flowers.
