Church of St. Peter and Paul in Hradec nad Moravicí

The second most famous tourist monument in Hradec nad Moravicí after the chateau is the Church of St. Peter and Paul. It stands on a hill in front of the entrance to the chateau grounds and its construction began at the end of the 16th century.

Three bells regularly ring out in the tower, and during various events, such as the Night of the Churches, it is possible to climb the tower. The interior of the church is richly decorated and you can admire the statues of St Peter and St Paul, the painting of the Adoration of the Three Kings and the four altars located in different areas of the church.From the church you can continue to the chateau and go on a tour of the interior, or walk through the extensive grounds of the chateau park and go up to Bezručova vyhlídka, for example.
