Minorite Monastery Gardens in Opava

The gardens of the Minorite Monastery near the Church of the Holy Spirit in Opava are one of the places where you can sit and contemplate in peace.

However, unlike other similar parks and monastery gardens, there is also a giant wandering boulder. It wandered here during its journey during the Ice Age, when it was pushed here by a glacier from Sweden. The wandering boulder in the monastery garden weighs around five tons and is the largest wandering boulder in the Opava region.
