Mountain saddle Pindula

The mountain saddle called Pindula is a place through which the road between Frenštát pod Radhoštěm and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm runs. There is a natural pass that has been created here on the ridge of the Beskydy Mountain.

On one side of the saddle rises the peak Radhošt and on the other hand, the massive Velký (Big) Javornik. At the peak on Pindula stands the well known Zbojnická koliba (Outlaw’s Inn) and the boundary between and Zlín Region passes through here. Very often the weather in Zlín is entirely different than that in the Moravian-Silesian Region even though the saddle at its highest point reaches just over 550 meters.
