Museum in Klimkovice
In the Renaissance chateau in the centre of Klimkovice there is a museum, which is dedicated, among other things, to the unique nature of the Poodří region.
This area connected to the Odra River is popular with waterfowl and plant lovers, and the Klimkovice museum will introduce you to the different species.
Another part of the museum is dedicated to the history of Klimkovice dating back to the 14th century and the third section is the memorial hall of a local native Helena Salichová – an important artist and ethnographer.Visitors can also see the historical square and the Baroque statue of St. Sebastian in Klimkovice. Today, the town is famous for its iodine-bromine baths.
