Radegast Educational Trail
The Radegast Educational Trail leads along the ridge of Radhošt' from Pustevny to the chapel, then returns the same way back behind the Radegast hotel, where it turns down the green trail.
From the green marker the trail turns to a contour path leading below the ridge (NS marker), which returns to the ridge in the last section and the final 0.5 km section leads along the ridge again.
The stop introduces visitors to a rich history dating back perhaps to the times before the arrival of the Old Believers in Great Moravia. Much attention is paid to the natural values and attractions of Radhošt’.
The route of the trail is part of a relatively dense network of marked hiking trails in the Radhošt’ massif. It can be combined with a number of ascent and descent routes to practically all sides. An alternative for visitors who only need to walk part of the trail is to start from Rožnov or from the Pindula saddle (red or blue trail), then follow the trail in reverse order, starting at stop 7.
