Wagon Museum
The museum is located in the castle building. Visitors can learn about the history of railway transport from the Middle Ages to the present day. The history of the famous wagon factory is shown here.
The local “wagon factory” was used to build mail cars, luggage cars, tram cars, dining cars, freight cars and many others. During the war years, the factory even produced field kitchens. In the foyer and six exhibition halls, the centuries-old history of the factory is played out before the eyes of visitors with the help of exhibits and model wagons. Among the museum’s attractions is a working model railway.
The Wagon Museum is part of the Technotrail, where those interested in technical monuments can learn about the most interesting places and sights in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
