Rodný dům Sigmunda Freuda (Sigmund Freud’s Birth House)

One of the greatest figures of world psychology is commemorated here in an interactive and entertaining way with an audio guide using the voice of "Freud" himself.

Visitors will get acquainted with the exhibition entitled “Sigmund Freud – a Man”, which aims to present the famous native of Příbor as a “normal” person with a normal relationship to everyday life. In each room you will be introduced to specific details from his personal and professional life, creating an atmosphere of a closer relationship between the visitor and the place where he was born.

Freud’s relationship to humour is emphasised by cartoons by Vladimír Jiránek, whose text introduces this serious, brooding scientist with a stern expression on his face as a lover of humour.
