Saddle Bumbálka

The saddle called Bumbálka forms a natural passage of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains from the Czech Republic to Slovakia.

The road that leads through it goes on to Makov. The ridge through which the saddle and the road passes lies on one of the main hiking and cycling trails that run along the Czech-Slovak border. There are facilities for refreshments at Bumbálka, both on the Czech and Slovak side. Visitors can continue along the ridge trail towards Bílý Kříž or Třeštík. Or along the valley to Velké Karlovice and Vsetín.
