Travný

The imposing mountain massif, which stretches from the village of Pražmo towards Bílý Kříž and is surrounded on one side by the Morávka River and on the other by the Mohelnice River, is a mountain called Travný.

The peak is at a height of 1,203 metres and the top of Lysá hora can be seen through the massive fir and beech trees.

Travný is a place where, besides many rare bird species, the Beskydy trio of beasts lives: lynx, wolf and bear. This is mainly due to the fact that the mountain is off the main tourist routes and the local forests retain their original character.

Access to the top is currently restricted.
