Silesian Countryside Museum in Holasovice

Visitors to the Museum of Silesian Countryside in Holasovice can learn how life was in the villages of Silesia. Thanks to local enthusiasts, a former farmhouse has been transformed into a complex focused on showing life between the two world wars.

Here you can see the ways in which food was stored, and there is an interesting collection of kitchen scales and domestic irons. In the former shed you can see an old forge, a joiner’s workshop and the grounds of a country school. The collection continues to grow as people keep coming up with more exhibits to donate to the Museum of the Silesian Countryside.Another place to visit in Holasovice is the Hůrka Hill with its beautiful views of the countryside.
