The Muzeum Slezský venkov (Museum of Rural Silesia) in Holasovice

At the museum of rural Silesia in Holasovice, visitors can discover how people in the villages of Silesia once lived. Thanks to local enthusiasts, a former farm is now home to a complex focused primarily on showcasing what life was like in the years between the World Wars.

Here, you will see how food was stored, as well as an interesting exhibit of kitchen scales and irons. The former shed houses an old blacksmith’s shop, a joiner’s workshop, as well as the facilities of a country school. The collections continue to grow as people donate more exhibit items to the Silesian museum.

Another place to visit in Holasovice is Vrchol Hůrka Mountain with its stunning views of the countryside.
