The Na Pomezí Cave

The Na pomezí Cave, near the town of Jeseník, is open to the public. It is a karst cave with speleothems, where you can see several large domes and many cave formations.

This is one of many karst caves in this region. The Na Špičáku Cave, near Supíkovice, is also famous and was supposedly the hideout of John Amos Comenius, the teacher of nations. This is where he hid after his expulsion from Fulnek. The Czech Brethrens even had a provisional chapel here.
