The Statue of Cyril and Methodius

The bronze sculpture of Cyril and Methodius was created by the Czech-American Albin Polasek

The hollow sculpture, which is 2.60 m high and weighs 800 kg, is cast in bronze and placed on a granite plinth where the stone cross stood. The statue is oriented to the east, so it looks at the statue of Radegast on the opposite hill and at the same time welcomes incoming pilgrims.
